The firm of Wolf & Klar was opened as a pawn shop by Alex Wolf and Jacob Klar, German immigrants, in the late 19th century. It grew to be an important firearms and jewelry store and was in business well into the 20th century. Located at 1505 Main St,, they were close to the stockyards and drew their customer base accordingly. Many of their repeat customers were well known lawmen and cattlemen.
Condition: bore is excellent, 98% nickel overall, some oxidation on corners of cylinder flutes, small holster wear at muzzle, grips are excellent, marks are excellent, also mechanically excellent.
